Does anyone know of a reliable news provider?
NTL has suddenly become VirginMedia and doesn't seem to find any new posts 
at all.

I simply changed the DNS name to text.news.virginmedia.com and all went
well. Note the "text" prefix for newsgroups such as this; the main
newsserver is inundated with binaries, so it's as slow as snot.
