Friday View
If you thought the 1st 2 days of Chester were difficult? Fridays is near
impossible imo
However....
Chester
2.45
CARTE DIAMOND @ double figure odds appeals, ran well after a long lay off
,over an inadequate trip finishing 3rd.This trip will suit him better.Holds
some interesting entries not least the Irish Leger.
3.15
Front running BEFORTYFOUR is making is H`cp debut here.If he gets out he
could lead these a merry dance! NOT MY COICE gets a lot of weight and is a
C/D winner?
4.35 The old boy STRETTON goes for a hattick of 1st time victories here and
why not *GRIN* But for the Jokey I would consider AINAMA as a bolt on ew
job.
Notts
2.30 M Johnson throws maiden VICE CONSUL into this H`cap after running quite
well up to 12 Furlongs, this longer trip may suit imo
good luck

Re: Friday View
Bloody heck Dave, Look Busy @16's, 'you da man!'
Did you see the Murtagh interview on Racing UK, he made some veiled comments
& also unveiled about Washington Irving, including 'could be anything' & it
sounds like he's the Epsom flagbearer.
If he's improved like they are saying he has those 16's could look big by
Sunday afternoon.
I keep going back for a nibble.
Cheers ears
Aid.

Cheers mate - backed it each-way but was a little gutted in the next
race as backed both Deira Dubai and Moon Sister each-way - the latter
was not too far away at 33/1 and it's better than a loser. Am using
the breeding a lot more nowadays and so far it's been paying off -
hope to post more detail on this when I get some more time. Basically,
I put in all the sire/damsire names into a spreadsheet for all the
runners and it tells me which ones have the best strike-rate over the
distance and which ones have the best strike-rates for Group1, 2 and 3
which can give an indication of potential class and ability.
Melodramatic stood out in the 4:10 at Nottingham and just scooted up
albeit at a short price.
Missed the interview - stuck in the office today but sounds like he
could be their main hope. I really like the breeding of that Hindu
Kush the more I look at it but of course you have to take the breeding
alongside racecourse performance and he has not really shown anything.
Although as you can see today it can often prove a good enough guide
on it's own with Macarthur also scoring well for the breeding stats.
It's one of the few things I actually use Raceform Interactive for now
- checking trainer and sire stats.

Maslak icing on the cake - managed to get 25's early doors - sweet day
considering I didn't even look at any form. Should maybe do that more
often ;-)

Al Khaleej looks value at the current 5's at Ascot tomorrow I reckon, they
will come for him for sure in the morning.
Cheers ears

Those were some selections/prices at Chester Dave, sounds like a homemade
dosage system in Excel. And heres me talking about 5/1 being value in the
Victoria Cup, er.....think you got the right idea.
Keep it up bud.

Re: Friday View
I see Tajaaweed is by Street Sense, Won the Breeders Juvenile before going
on to score in the Kentucky Derby (first ever to do that), blue blood
indeed. At first I didn't think he looked like a Derby winner, but on
reflection the second horse may be very good, the pair well clear of the
rest & a lot to like about this one me thinks.
Cheers ears
