Atlantic Quest
Who was it who contributed to this group a couple of years ago who was
often extolling the virtues of Atlantic Quest in handicaps of around a mile?
Whoever it is might be interested to know that AQ ran in its first Point
to Point yesterday at the Llangeinor Hunt meeting at Laleston in South
Wales!
After one or two hesitant jumps AQ settled to a steady pace but was
pulled up after about 2 miles of the 3 mile race.
The horse ran in the Confined Hunts race as maidens in ptp have to be
true maidens, and wins on the flat count even if the horse has never
seen a jump before! Mind you, I,m surprised someone didn,t at least try
him over hurdles at some point.
