Anyone interested in joining forces to have a go at the mini-league 
competition on the Sun King of the Punters site ? Won this quite a few 
years ago with a newsgroup team..if your interested here are the details...

I have setup a mini-league for anyone interested in pooling our 
selections, £2500 for the first prize for the best mini-leagues and £500 
for the 2nd (which will obviously be shared equally). Entry's per team 
are only a fiver, and you get 5 for £20.

The overall individual winner though walks away with £20,000, with 
prizes down to £1000 for overall 5th place. Also, Cheltenham festival 
and Grand National prizes of £2500 and £500 along with 11 weekly prizes 
of £1000 each week makes it a competition worth taking part in.

All you have to do is to select a trainer/jockey combo and 6 horses you 
think will score most points based on wins, SP, prizemoney etc between 
Saturday 19th Jan and the end of the National meeting on April 5th.

Once you have registered your entry (or entries), log in and click on 
the "Join Mini League" button. Enter the name and password listed below 
and your entry will automatically be assigned to the Mini League.

Mini League name is: racebets
Mini League password is: strawbear

The more the merrier but need at least 10 people to get a full 
mini-league setup.

You might regret saying that! I haven't bothered to read all the rules , so 
I hope my rather random efforts won't ruin all your carefully considered

A few of mine were pretty random choices to be honest. Used to be they 
took the average of the best 5 overall scoring teams from the 
mini-league, now it is based on all the teams in the league so it will 
be interesting for sure ;-) Good luck to all and cheers to those who joined.
