Paddy Power
Does anybody else here use Paddy Power online?
I have been having a problem for the last week or so with my account.
Whatever event I try to bet on, the stake is limited to some random small
amount. Before that I had no trouble getting bets on at around £100 - £150
stake.

For example I just tried to bet on the favourite in the 1000 guineas
thinking that should be a reasonably liquid market. Currently the max stake
is £5 odd at 8.0. Surely a liability of less than £50 on such a big event
shouldn't be a problem for PP.

The call centre and email help both spout a standard spiel: "There are
limits put on certain bets by our race room for risk/liability reasons.
This cannot be overridden when betting over the internet, however sometimes
a dial-a-bet operator may be able override the limit."

I tried explaining the problem to them but they didn't seem to understand.
