, but even so ... Won both its chases in France , sold in the summer for 
around £120k ; presumably bought by fond parents to boost their daughter's 
career , but Miss R Davidson is a nice rider , and claims 5 ; also entered 
in a class 2 at Aintree on Sunday , so I suppose they're happy with it . 
Conditions should suit it fine . The favourite Tous Chez isn't a bad sort , 
and won quite nicely at Carlisle , though maybe that form doesn't amount to 
too much ; but perhaps its the right moment to take a chance (and a price) 
on Manadam .

Rose is a good rider and I spotted her early and had some decent wins on her 
two years ago, including a ride of the season type win on Rayshan (14/01/06) 
at Carlisle when she dead heated. Unfortunately she is not strong enough in 
a finish against the lads and is too often second when she apparently has it 
sown up. The Betfair radio team make a point laying her (how else can I say 
it?) late on.

No, we went out for the day and I didn't even look at the runners. It was 
curses at night when I saw that it had won for the third time at the course.

Sadly we didn't get a chance to judge her finish ! Disappointing and 
inconclusive for both horse and rider (I didn't see the race , so I don't 
know if either was at fault) .

Keep an eye on the families horses when Tony Dobbin rides them instead of 
Rose.
