Hybrid Irons
'm looking for a new set of Irons, and a friend has suggested a hybrid
set. I'm 70 years of age, and play off 24. Never have been lower than
18, and now I'm slowly sneaking up the handicap chart. So, have any
posters on this NG had experience with a hybrid set and would be
prepared to tell their experience with them? Many thanks.

I have had a set of the Slazenger 'Big Easy' clubs for about 2 years
I find that they are more forgiving than the traditional Ping irons I did
have.
For me they are also about 10 yards longer
I am 69 years of age and play off 25.

Hi All.
A Friend of mine bought a set of these about a year ago (He is in his
mid 50's) and had never broken the 28 boundary by several shots.. Now
down to 25 and hitting a lot more fairways.. I have never tried them but
they really have helped his short backswing gentle stroke..
Regards
