Range finder binoculars
Went out for 9 holes with the pro last night and he had a pair of
range finder binocs in his bag.
Never seen them before never mind tried them.

Great fun. Really helped in comparing my estimated yardage with actual
(assuming the binocs were accurate)

I found that we were both very close in yardage up to 100yards but we
underestimated for longer distances

It was difficult pinpointing an exact spot (say the flagstick) from
distance, especially as the light was going.

No, I wouldn't buy a set but I would like to try them out again
sometime.

Have you noticed that 99.9% of trouble is in front of rather than behind the
green?
