Ouch .. my ears, and a sorry tale.
Anyone heard the new (ish) Cobra LD drivers in action yet? A player was
using one a couple of holes in front of me today, I could hear the crack of
it every shot. It really should come with a health/hearing warning :o)
The sorry tale, after putting the clubs in the car I discovered my front
windscreen had been smashed by a ball. My car was parked in the car park
behind a safety fence beside the 18th green. Needless to say the offending
b*&^%$d did not leave his name in the office.
We are a proprietor owned club, however as expected the proprietors response
was that cars are parked at the owners risk (As per the disclaimer signs)
I'd hazard a guess that if I really pushed it the disclaimers are probably
not worth the wood they are printed on (IYKWIM) However I've already got it
booked in for a windscreen replacement on Saturday morning courtesy of my
insurance policy less the £50 access. Ho hum.
