Fit for a Major
Cabrera's fitness routine and approach to the game is most impressive.
I was getting a bit worried that I would have to stop gagging on the
occasional stogie, eschew my Full English Breakfast and get myself off
to the gym, pressing weights etc and get to look in peak physical
condition like the poor unfortunate who came second, I forget his name.
Go Cabrera go! Brain won over brawn and his well worked last round under
par paid dividends in the end and he even managed to keep it together
when it was getting tight at the end with a blast of the so called evil
weed. A great performance from an obviously great athlete :-)

Apart from the fact that Cabrera looks like one of the brawniest
players on tour, I agree completely !
Does he train up on jalfrezis and garlic nans washed down with pints
of Kingfisher, do you think ?

I recall Darren Clarke's 'tongue in cheek' comment when questioned about
his ability to play extra holes in one day due to a weather delay.."No
problems...we golf pros are of course highly trained International
athletes"! (Spoken while chewing on a large cigar)

He is also partial to a friendly drink after a hard day on the links
as reported by a BBC 5 live commentator last night - who was in a bar
very late during a European tour event and assuming Cabrera had missed
the cut enquired by how many, Cabrera replyed No, No, I am on the
first tee at 9am :-)

He is also partial to a friendly drink after a hard day on the links
as reported by a BBC 5 live commentator last night - who was in a bar
very late during a European tour event and assuming Cabrera had missed
the cut enquired by how many, Cabrera replyed No, No, I am on the
first tee at 9am :-)

players on tour, I agree completely !
