Whatever happened to 'money-mad' West Ham?
Well stone me, here we are with just a day to go before the transfer
deadline, and 'money mad' West Ham, blamed by the ignorant for
single-handedly inflating premiership footballers prices this summer, still
haven't made a single mega buck big name signing, still haven't secured a
new left back, still haven't bought a new central midfielder to back up
(injury prone) Parker, and still haven't bought a replacement for (long term
injured) Faubert/Dyer.

What's the point having all this cash, and the reputation which goes with it
if they don't act a bit irresponsibly and make a few offers which can't be
refused?

Shorey, Appiah, Barnes and Anelka, come on Eggy, time's running out!

Agree with all that BAC.

Anelka has kissed the Bolton badge thou so he's out. Barnes & Shorey might
still be brought in.

On the other hand we might not bring anyone in???

Barnes and Shorey would probably cost 'only' £10-15 million to bring in, and
I think would represent good business over the next few years. Great
spending other people's money isn't it?

You're probably right, and we'll have to make do with what we've got now.
Fates, no more injuries, please!
