I bought the 'Call Off the Search' CD yesterday
it is not as stunningly beautiful as 'Piece by Piece'
but it is good for a first CD Album

It is surprising how much work Mike Batt puts in as
a songwriter and I wonder if his lyrics reflect
Katie's thoughts or do they influence her in any way?

My favourite lyrics are from 'Mockingbird Song' but
the best song is 'Closest Thing to Crazy'

The 2 songs that Katie wrote, 'Belfast(Penguins and Cats)
and 'Faraway Voice' please me in their innocence

As for the photos of Katie, the 'Piece by Piece' photos
show that Katie's face has widened, giving her those
big beautiful eyes, in other words, Katie has grown majestically into
her face

On the 'Call Off the Search' CD there is an interview
with Katie and she explains Cats and Penguins in Belfast
In times before I was born, it was Cats and Proddy Dogs in Lancashire

Katie also shows off her multilingual talent, she'll
make a good Foreign Secretary one day,
in a North West Assembly of course
