New Footage
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/7405259.stm

Go to nearly one minute and listen.

You will here the tones of an Englisman saying "Pig bastard", then " Go son,
glass him". Refering to the officer who was tripped up.

Now, i am not saying that some pissed up rangers fans are not to blame.
But, when you watch the all the footage there are cleary people in the mob
that look out of place. Such as the lad kicking the Police van at the start
with the hackett number 2 polo shirt on, you see him again at the front
baiting the police. Most people i saw at the fanzone had either a a rangers
t-shirt or a rangers top on, yet this lad had no top nor scarf... WHY !!!

I went to Picadilly Gardens and attempted to get in, but it was obvious that
it was overcrowded. The screen said more screens at the velodrome so i left
and got a taxi up there, when i got up there about 15mins into the match it
was pretty empty.

Either way i am digusted by what happened, and hope the authorites identify
and prosecute those responsible.

Case closed then, eh? The voice of a lone Englishman proves beyond all doubt
that the saintly, upstanding Rangers fans had nothing at all to do with the
carnage in Piccadilly. LOL

Face it, you will have to deal with your club's shame sooner or later.

Re: New Footage
If you read what i wrote. I am NOT trying to say it wasn't Rangers fans, as
clearly
there was some involved (Whether true supporters, who actually go to Ibrox
is debatable).

But, what i as saying that there was an element there who where not, and
whose only reason for being there was to cause havoc.

Case closed? Oh, right.....you didn't read his very next line?

"Now, i am not saying that some pissed up rangers fans are not to blame".

Lot of shite being talked about this at the moment IMO. Theres a scum
element surrounding every team. Time will tell, but as far as I see it,
whats happened here is that those "known hooligans", i.e the ones who are
banned from their teams games and possibly even from travelling abroad could
well be behind this. Theres no restriction on travelling within the UK
unless they attempt to enter a stadium! I reckon this was organised.

Unfortunately, some arseholes who fit the above criteria support Rangers.
And another thing, I think this scenario could and probably would have
happened no matter what British team were playing.

And another another thing! As a teetotaller myself, I can't abide "drink"
being blamed for stuff like this. Thats a load of shite, if you're going to
sell intoxicants to fuckwits you can't very well blame the substance itself.

And....its naive to claim that the coppers weren't right up for a good old
rumble as well.
The whole sorry mess fucking stinks to high heaven.

Ashamed.

As a Mancunian, I must say I was disgusted on Wednesday, people were
drinking at 7.30AM in Albert Square as I walked to work, and shouting
sectarian crap when I went out for a cig before noon. Plese remove the
St George's cross from your flag, you're a xxxxxxx disgrace and we
English want nothing to do with you.

Lets get one thing straight ya prick, WE in Scotland want fuck all to do
with you lot south of the border, it shames me when our misguided brothers
and sisters think it is good to align themselves to the pond life that your
lot quite clearly are. For any engerlishman to call any Scotsman a disgrace
is beyond belief, your disgusting mob have brought havoc whereever you have
went, and dont let the press kid you on that Wednesdays events were ALL down
to Scottish fans wanting a fight. If that was the case we would have skelpt
yer arses nae bother without the need for bottles and cans, if truth be
told, mankchester was littered with Chelsea tops all day long and dickheads
that preferred to wear 'Firetrap' clothing etc instead of showing what team
they really supported. Those were the real hooligan element that were
charging the police, there were a few Rangers tops there as well but the
majority had no colours showing in the videos that have been released which
makes me doubt that it was all down to Scottish Rangers fans. IMO the point
that has been missed the most is the fact that Chelsea play mank U next week
in the Champions League Final, and what better chance could those thugs from
London have to run riot in Mankchester than to blend in with the Scottish
fans and thereby shift the majority of the blame northwards which would
deflect any blame from themselves. That being said, it doesn't excuse the
morons from up our way that joined in due to the pack mentality. We will
never know who instigated it all, but even the most bitter celtic supporter
must be thinking that even Rangers fans aren't that nasty, given that week
in week out passes without bother in Scotland, but the first time their team
pays in engurland, havoc ensues.

I would say that although the happenings the other night were a disgrace,i
find it very hard to believe any english fan claiming the moral high
ground.English football fans both National and at club level have pulled
british football down time and time again over many years !!!!!!!

I don't recall any violence in 1999 when over 1m lined Manchester's streets.
Yet we will be denied anything like this should we win on
Wednesday.....thanks to Rangers fans. Excuse me if I'm not feeling generous
with my comments towards your fans.
