Wishes
You know how Scots hate it when England win? They feel that they can't
stand to hear the media bleat on about it?
I am born and raised in Airdrie; of Rangers supporting stock.
But I hope beyond reason that Rangers don't win tonight. The
triumphalism would be too much to bear.
It's not that I have any love for either side of the old firm. It's
what Rangers symbolises that I hate. The servile, royalist, exclusive
image.
Yes, I know that not all supporters are like that but it is still the
image that is attached and for good reason, IMHO.
So for politcal and personal reasons, I hope you don't win. And yes, I
am aware that means the racists would win. But that is by far the
lesser of two evils in this case.

Living in England, I hope that Rangers do win. Helps offset the fact that
an English team has one the Champions league.
