OT:Ipod problem.
Just spent a few hours next door as neighbour called saying he bought a 16gb
Ipod on ebay and the guy had said he had about 2000 songs that he would
leave on for him to have . Neighbour said he was having problems and could i
nip round and have a look. The guy said it should be listed in my computer as
a drive and just drag and drop files . So went and had a look and it was a
pain in the backside , no unit listed in my comp (made sure hidden folders
were shown) etc . So brought it back to my place and as soon as i plugged it
in it picked it up but as a camera !!!!! Then as soon as i downloaded
itunes7 the icon disappeared from my computer.

I have looked around for software that can pick up all the songs on the ipod
and transfer them to the pc and downloaded a few things but all were
evaluation type stuff, couldnt find any freeware . Can anyone recommend any
software that would extract all the songs on the ipod onto the pc ? Never
owned an ipod and after tonight i sure as hell dont want one!!!!

TIA,

JB

The iLounge is the place to find all things iPod. This link should be
able to help your neighbour find the songs and get them into iTunes.

Cheers and good luck
