I think it's still to be decided, but it was a lot of money Rangers
were getting for a "conundrum". Apparently there is a boy at Liverpool
who has been at loads of different clubs this season, sounds like abit
of double standards. And here was me thinking after Bazza played
basketball at Hampen, that the officals were in the pocket, while
pulling up their left trouser leg and showing their left nipple, of
Rangers... ;)

FIFA Meet in ten days to decide if the deal can go ahead. Roy Hodgson spoke
on Sky Sports earlier and said he is hopeful the deal can still be
concluded.
Cousin was doing a turn for us but the bottom line is he wants to leave and
to get a 200% profit on someone over that period of time is good buisness.

He is a good finisher but I've not been impressed by his work rate

Perhaps Chr

Selling one of your best strikers when the league is there to be won and you
cannot sign a replacement doesnt sound like a good idea to me.

If we didn't have a backup lazy-bastard-who'll-nick-you-goals-for-fun I'd
agree. We don't need 2. Sell Cousin and keep Boyd and it's still enough to
win the league. In the meantime, look for a real goalscorer.

Whats the point of keeping an unhappy player who's is desperate to play in
the premiership ? It's the lure of that league not the team thats attracting
Cousin. If he thinks that Fulham are half the club Rangers are he is sadly
mistaken.
Hopefully we still have enough up front to win the league , time will tell.
That aside as I said above its is an excellent profit on a player in a short
period of time and Rangers now have a considerable transfer kitty to use in
the summer. Am I the only gers fan that is not disapointed that we did not
get that Italian ? I mean seriously if Brescia is the height of his
ambitions do we really want him ? Far better to take our time and use the
money more prudently.

You've been reading too many Minty Moonbeam press releases mate! To take in
9m and not spend anywhere near that is a pretty poor show, especially if it
ends up costing you the league. I'm still not ultra confident, but I think
we have strengthened both the first eleven and the overall squad while
Rangers have weakened your team.

It's been well publicised that Cousin was signed as we didn't expect to
sign Naismith before the deadline.
But don't let the facts get in the way of a good troll.

It was? First I've heard of it, so I dont think it was well publicised at
all.

You dont seem to be too bothered by facts most of the time - who can forget
your post about the Stuttgart teams faced by Rangers and Celtic being
completely different only for them to be almost exactly the same...

It's been mentioned several times in the media over the last month
including in no particular order, Sky Sports, Setanta, The Daily
Record, Sunday Mail, Scotsman, BBC. How you missed it is beyond me, but
don't let me get in the way of you spouting more rubbish. Keep up the
good work.

I'm sure there is plenty of evidence for this that you can post then? And of
course, Murray wouldnt be feeding his lapdogs in the media more porkies now,
would he? How's the 700m development coming along, by the way?

I was surprised you sold Cousin and don't think Boyd will do the same
damage. I think the turning point this year could well be the transfer
window....I know you keep telling us that Rangers are still gonna win
the leage, and as much as I like your optimisim here, think you may be
wrong......looks to me as if Rangers are shackled by transfer mistakes
of the past and moves towards a more parsimonious wage structure.
Rangers should really have been able to afford to keep Hutton and also
sign that Italian. Not that I'm complaining mind you. ;)
