There was no attempt, just the moonbeam peddler fooling all the peepul all
the time.
"aw, sorry fans. We tried to sign a £7m (pmsl) italian striker but he
preferred to go to seria b. Nevermind, at least the Mutton money will keep
the wolves from the door for a little longer"

It's a bit disappointing if he went to a Seria B team instead of
coming to the SPL. Our league has been quite good recently.

coming to the SPL. Our league has been quite good recently.
It was the third time he's signed for Brescia apparently. I think our league
has continued to be crap.

get a grip Ang. The fella is Italian. He'll have family and friends in
Italy, the fact that he chooses an Italian team likely to be in Serie A next
season against living in the city with Europe's worst weather, worst food
and highest murder rate isn't an indictment on the SPL.

I think it's be quite good recently. You've got Rangers putting up a
serious challenge to Celtic. Celtic being in the last 16 of the
Champions League. Rangers and Aberdeen being in the Uefa cup after
christmas. The development of Motherwell, and a number of other teams
have been able to take points off the top two. I seem things a little
more positively that youself.

Why is everyone so pessimistic all of a sudden?!...cheer up, the days
are getting longer, we're into February, the daffodils buds are
starting to show in the park....man, anyone would think you've done
nothing in the transfer window and you've just added another game to
your congested schedule.... ;)

Feck off, Fish Supper's are pure braw! Find it hard to believe that Glasgow
has the worst weather and murder rate in Europe. It doesnt even have the
worst weather in Scotland!

There has been no 'development of Motherwell, and a number of other teams
have been able to take points off the top two'...teams have always done that
and will continue to do so. Don't know where you get that idea from.
True that on paper we are doing better in Europe but IMO we are only
'achieving' what we should at that level. Also the fact that Rangers and
Celtic are competitive at the moment means nothing as regards quality. My
local amatuer league is closely contested.
