Same story thast been doing its rounds.

Reports suggest that rangers today accepted a £8million bid from Spurs
and the deal was all but completed when the man him self apparently
decided he was staying put at ibrox. The rangers starlet has been
called a future rangers captain and even branded "The Blue Cafu", and
been watched in action by clubs like Manchester united, and a top
flight Italian side. Rangers fans will have a mixed reaction if Hutton
leaves the club, with some thinking that £8m is far too big a lump of
cash to turn down for a club with rangers current financial state.
Others will argue rangers should not sell the player who was listed as
8th best young player in the world. Hutton, who is a born and bread
rangers fan may find the wage bracket offered by 'Spurs too much to
turn down, but by the looks of it he would rather stay at rangers for
now. This could all change of course if spurs Flash-the-cash a bit
more and tempt him away from his favorite club.

Time will tell
Bottom line is we have a ready made replacement in Whittaker and eight
million could be used to bring in some quality players.

How do you see the fact that Rangers agreed to sell Hutton, but Hutton
didn't want to move? Could you have done alot with £9m, since I think
the Premiership valuations are excessive, or do you think it's
preferable that he's stayed. I recognise that he has improved and is
brave going forward, willing to beat people and gets a good cross in
but can't help think it get's lost in defence sometimes ie a couple of
times against Lyon, Scotland Italy first goal and second goal he
should have put the ball in Row ZZ instead of getting embroiled with
the Italian. Think it was Greame Spiers that quoted a Rangers legend
only 18 months or so ago....Rangers legend said he won't cut it....

Maybe it's just cos I'm wishing here but I think you would have had
more chance winning the league if you had £9m to spend in the transfer
market...ie buy a centre forward...

as for spiers, nobody listens to him and nobody talks to him.

You just hope that Bolton(snigger)gives you that big ONE MILLION
pounds for the thug, then you can add it to your big transfer budget
and you might just make second spot this year, but I hope he stays and
drains the wage bill him and Hinkel will feel like two new signings on
high wages

Are you seriously suggesting that Hutton was to blame for Italy's second
goal? That is laughable.

Stop bothering me with silly questions...more importantly, would you

I'll take that as a yes then. Bias beyond reason.

It was £8m plus add-ons. The answer is yes, I probably would.

He wasn't to blame for the goal...that's abit too strong...I only
suggested he should have kicked the ball into the stand like a proper
defender would have done......don't you agree?

So since some guy spray painted something on a wall, you've decide
that anyone that ever used the h word is a "sectarian-racist-bigot"?
Honestly Jim that doesn't make any sense...Most people that use it
mean Rangers fans. I think a few Rangers fans on here don't mind the
term either... Ally Dunn and Anti-Tim, in particular...

It just looks like you are being overly precious and want to be
offended by something that really is quite harmless...why don't you
just leave it?

some guy painted it, really. Lot of your like being called fenians
they even have songs about it as well as banners, didnt stop people
like you twisting it to suit your agenda.

thing is laim we dont sing about it, the ones with brains and old
enough to know where it comes from we dont call our selves it, and we
dont have anything we wave or wear with it on it, so dont try and use
two of the biggest clowns to post here to back up your bigotry.

was it some guy that was singing it against the hearts and Dundee
support?

quite harmless, bigotry is quite harmless is it liam.coming from aguy
that says he is old enough to remeber the start of the troubles in NI?
yes laim that when it all started.

why dont you answer why it painted on the streets of Ireland, why dont
you answer why it was sung against three teams this season? why dont
you tell us where it comes from

pure football related so it is.

No I do not. He had possession and we needed a goal. Of course if he knew
the ref would not only allow the Italian to barge him off the ball, but
also wrongly penalise Hutton, then yes, but hindsight is always 20/20 as
they say.
Great philosophy though...a proper defender boots it into touch...right.
