IRA chanting on Saturday v Hearts
Some guy in the Record hotline says he took his son to the game on Saturday
(he's a celtic fan), but says he won't be going back due to the IRA chanting
all the way through the game.
Anyone hear anything else?

Well done Celtic...
...great achievement to get through.
Men against boys at times tonight, if Milan can find 1 extra gear I don't
think they'll be far off winning the tournament, but that doesn't matter,
the group is over 6 games, not 1, and Celtic deserved it.
Lets hope Rangers can go through too - if so, I don't think Scotland can be
far away from 2 automatic places into group stages

I can't really be arsed, but I'll rise to your oh-so-subtle and clever bait
anyway - given the group we were in, regardless of what happens next
Wednesday, Rangers won't be showing anyone up. If anything's showing us up,
it's Celtic's away CL record. It must be the worst away record in the
history of football.
How many months/games is it now that Celtic have failed to keep a clean
sheet away in ANY competition?

I was thinking that myself - must be something like P15 W0 L14 D1,
Absolutely pathetic!

Another embarassing stat for the bhoys - I think it was last September.
Basically we need to score at least 2 goals in an away gam to even have a
chance of winning!

To be fair it IS balanced by one of the best home records.

It seems that way. Quite an amazing stat that one for a team that have won
2 titles on the trot and qualified for the CL last 16 twice on the trot.

A contribution from Aberdeen against Copenhagen would be great too.

Having thought about it, the most realistic way to boost our national co-ef
would be for Rangers to drop into the UEFA cup and go on a run in that
tournament.
Anywone noticed how high the Romanians are in the co-ef tables? Points in
the UEFA Cup are currently too high. Plus, it doesn't make sense that if
you fail to qualify out of the CL sections and finish 3rd, you can end up
picking up a lot more points than teams that do qualify.

Let's hope not... ;)

Oh dear, that old chestnut....

...Maybe

Too many, it's been a long time since Celtic have gone a full ninety
minutes without conceeding an away goal...I mean...ffs Celtic are the
Champions of Scotland, Double winners of Scotland....WGS is now on his
3rd Rangers manager having seen off two already....Celtic have
qualified for the last sixteen of the Uefa CL two years running...the
first Scottish team to do that....Celtic are arguably going through
one of the most successful periods in the clubs recent history....but
that's not enough for me...no way Jose!!....imhfo they shouldn't be
conceeding away goals...since that is just so embarrassing!.....and
also freekicks round the box...they shouldn't be conceeding them
either..and corner kicks?...YES f*ckin corner kicks....I f8ckini hate
that.....they should NEVER be conceeding corners...anytime...and why?
you might reasonably ask....since they are all as equally unimportant
and completely tangential as statistics about away goals and Celtic's
away record in the CL group stages....

OK, I'll take a different approach Moody, given that sarcasm doesn't float
your boat....could Celtic get to the final of the Uefa CL if they never kept
a clean sheet...nor won a game....away from home.....between now and May?
Simple question, or are you another 'un taking the fifth amendment....
