Carling Cup
What a right old mess Newcastle is in. Let's be honest - Butt is responsible for the first goal due
to slack passing that is fast becoming his trademark. Then boy Taylor fucked up yet again and gave
away the second goal. What a joke of a defence we have.

Hasn't anyone noticed Geremi playing? Like a old man, nothing else. Cacapa was all at sea in his
midfield role. Bassong lacks experience - can be a dawdler at times.

I know all about injuries and the current situation, but these players should have more heart.

On Keegan's walkout, I think he should have made his point and stayed on for the sake of the club in
caretaker capacity. Do I want him back again to manage Newcastle - no thanks. Enough is enough. Do I
want Ashley back - no thanks and he better buzz off very soon.

Sad times,

he's only there to plug the gap until ashley sells up.

hopefully it will be sooner rather than later, as the instability
behind the scenes is clearly affecting the playing side of things, no
matter what the players say.

and to be fair, we could do worse than venables, he may be a bit dodgy
(allegedly) but he's a pretty good coach.
