Aston Villa Match
Watched the match on SKY Sports.

I was shocked when Keegan picked brainless Carr to play at left back. First minute... Carr made two
shite passing errors... last minute gave away a penalty. In between his shite defending and poor
ball possession led to Villa's first goal. He couldn't make foraging runs down the left cos he's
fucking useless at that left area.

Because the manager picked the team, Keegan is at fault for the defeat. Why the ruddy fuck did he
pick Carr to play at left back and leave Jose Enrique on the bench for the entire match? Something
is definitely amiss with Keegan's judgement and this is a serious cause for concern.

And what good is Alan Smith? Call himself a striker? It's one big joke.

Newcastle now has a tendency to fold in the second half of every match...

I'll give Keegan time... but I am worried about the team at the same time.

Something has happened to some of the players... .enrique should be
laying but for sam and now keegan not to pick must say something about
the player. but saying that it was sam who brought him here?

Smith as a forward, you may as well play harper up there because smith
hasn't scored since 2005. (I know he had that bad injury)

I think carr was to blame for an earlier goal and the pen. I don't know
why we don't come out for the second half. we looked ok/good(ish) first
half.

I think we are starting to see which players won't be here next season

To me the score line did not represent the whole game and after such a
short time in charge I can already see certain things improving.
The moment they scored confidence went out of the window and the usual
defensive shambles came back.
Confidence is our biggest problem IMO plus CAH Cah of course.
Dick Barton is also bloody useless and should be shipped out at the
end of the season.
I am prepared to give Keegan time even if we go down as long as Ashley
puts his hand in his pocket in the summer.
Our problems have taken years to create and will take just as long to
put right.
