that  Newcastle's   bid to drop sponsors ( Northern Rock ) & switch to  TNT 
parcel services has fallen through

 'cos the paperwork, on 2 data CDs,  got lost in the post

Talk about setting yourself up for a fall.

We have been abysmal for most of the last twenty years. OK so there
seems to a bit of light at the end of the tunnel but it hardly warrants
acting superior to anyone
