Newcastle vs Everton Match Report 3-2 (Newcastle Bias)
Newcastle had the run of the grass the whole way through, after bad
recent form. Dominated possession about 75-25, goals from Owen and
Emre sealed it for them. Nice goal in the first half from Butt.
Newcastle were always in front.

The goals : Owen with a header into the Gallowgate bottom right, made
space well. Emre shortly before, with a "scorcher" from 25 yards on
the volley. Butt in the first half dinked it over the top of the
Everton keeper for a good goal.

Tactics changed from on the ground "purdy" stuff to "long ball" when
pressured by the Toffees in a difficult 15 minute spell for them in
first half.

My Mystic Meg forecast was really pessimistic, as I think on the basis
of market value, Newcastle should finish half-way, yet Allardyce went
against the stats and leaped-froged Everton in the table. As he
didn't have a alot to spend, he's done remarkably out there today.
