Barton's injury
How come Shrek lookalike Rooney recovers in no time from a broken bone
in his foot but Barton is still 4 weeks or at least a few reserve
games away from a comeback?
didnt he get injured in July? How about the fact he might get done for
assult so Sam is keeping him out of the team until his trial? If so
then why the fuck did we get him?

We all know Owen is out for ages everytime its for NUFC but hes back
sharpish when its for England. Not saying its done on purpose but it
just feels that way.
Barton picked up the injury in July, so he is a slow healer like Owen
then. I guess the only person who recovers early is Shrek, i meant
Rooney- becasue of his shrek- like genes :-((

My paranoia stems from the fact that we had a lying, thieving chairman
called Freddy Shepherd for years. I didnt believe most fo the stuff he
said and now with Sam in charge, it isnt that much better- with his
son and the dodgy deals when at Bolton.
Although Sam wasnt charged of any wrong doing, he must've known what
was going on. Or Souness with his buy of Boumsong and Luque- I bet he
and Freddy pocketed some cash from these deals.
Im convinced there is some corruption in the Premier league and its
will eventually come out and the bubble will burst -like the Italian
league. Do you ever wonder why manure only fluked that CL win back in
99 and havent got no where near the final ever since? Its becasue
they're not that good and they cant influence the referees in Europe
like they do in the premiership.

and what does that have to do with the severity of a broken bone in a
players foot?
you could fall over and break your arm and need to be in a cast for 6
weeks, i could fall over and break my arm and not even need a cast,
just an arm brace, for a couple of weeks.
the guy's injured, nothing more, nothing less.

The point was that Barton has taken a lot longer than Rooney to
recover from his borken foot (ok,I know some take longer to recover
than others) but I was thinking the club are holding him back from a
return because of his court case and blaming the delay on his injury.
Hence your comment about me being paranoid.

Maybe after judging his performances once recovered Allardyce thought
"Nope, I'm having another player in there this Satuday". What's the
stats on Barton? Owen arrived back today he had an injury too.
Rooney had a better doctor than Barton? Who knows.

No I cant see that happening, even if he wasnt playing well, Sam would
play him becasue he was brought in by Sam. Maybe Rooney had a better
doctor, that is possible but not becasue Sam thought he's got better
options in that position. That would undermine him and his purchases.
Having said that, if Emre keeps playing to the level of a few years
ago consistently, he might just keep Barton out of the starting XI.

ARGH!
stop comparing his recovery to rooney's for fucks sake!
rooney obviously had a very minor break, bartons was obviously more
serious.
no matter how good a doctor is he cant magically make bone mend
quicker.

similar injuries dont take the same amount of time to mend but if a
metal pin is needed in the foot( like Owen's broken foot) then its
understandable to be out for months but I dont think Barton needed
surgery. Having said that, if Barton and rooney had similar injuries
then the recovery time for both should be close- not months
different. I was just replying back to the post about Rooney having a
better doctor and Barton not playing becasue Sam thought he wasnt
ready yet.
