Did N'Zogbia play Derby tonight in wellies?
He could hardly keep his feet, nor could he cross. A shocking performance given his recent good form.
I'm not barracking the lad, but where's Enrique?
How many crosses and free kicks hit the first man? We've struggled with set pieces so far this season. There's a lack of
quality right there.

it wasnt just N'Zogbia with the poor crosses, Millner was just as
guilty! Every cross and free kick went straight to their keeper. Too
many tricks and oversteps and no final ball. We had nothing going up
front and with Ameobi up there, im not surprised we got beat.
Butt had a fuckin stinker tonight. lets hope Barton can do better and
hope Viduka is back soon. We played like Sam's Bolton team. Long balls
to a target man, shame Ameobi is no where near as good as Kevin Davies
in the air.

we looked absolutely shit tonight. As we have all season.
If Big Sam is the answer I'm afraid we are in for a dreadful season.

i couldnt fathom allardyce's subs tonight.
we're losing, so he takes off our best striker in owen, for martins,
then brings 2 defenders on.
piss poor frankly.
n'zogbia needs to be in midfield, i don;t care how well he's done at
fullback, he isn't a fucking defender. we sorely lacked any pace or
penetration from midfield tonight. let's just hope some of the injured
parties can add some of that when they get back, cos on tonight's
showing, the good start could easily be undone.

Re: Did N'Zogbia play Derby tonight in wellies?
The selection of Amoebi in the first place gave me the jitters... and the poor performances of
N'Zogbia, Milner and Butt have been the cause of the outcome tonight.
I never understand why ANY manager will want to keep Amoebi - I would get rid of him in a flash.
Losing to a bottom team seems to be Newcastle's speciality over the past decades and now that one.

How many managers has Ameobi played under, he's 26 and it seems to me
that he is doing nothing.
Now some people like super mac won't have a bad thing said about him,
last season ameobi was injured but this season so far he looks worse
than that.
His concetration isn't there, he's slow to the ball and more shocking
he's a 6ft guy and can't head a ball. Martins is 5ft plus and he's a
better header.
I hate to say this but Ameobi is in the same league as some of the money
grabbers who have left the club. The so called potential is there but it
never comes out when playing for newcastle.
N'zogbia I agree he has to pushed up to the left midfield slot, he's
been doing ok at left back but when he looses the ball there's no cover.
Milner had a off night but we are expecting so much from him now, but he
has to play on the right side of midfield and no as he's doing now and
by that I mean floating between the left wing and right wing.
Agree about Butt but what is alan smith's role?

I dont want to sound like im whinging after one loss- although i am,
the facts were there for everyone to see. Shola, Butt, Smith ( to an
extent), Millner and a few others played really poorly.
Sam told in the post match interview that the international break had
an affect on his preperations. Well he had an extra day than any other
team/ manager in the league to prepare for this. He is right about
some of our players looking tired and rusty- the likes of Owen for
example but Alan Smith didnt play for England, Butt didnt go anywhere,
I dont think Martins played for Nigeria either and this is all against
a team who conceded 6 and 4 goals against the scouse and Spurs!
Jose sounds like he is cracking up but he has a point and made a good
example. Seems like we still have a few eggs in our basket that were
bought from Asda and Lidle rather than Waitrose and M&S!
