Well done Scousers....
.....from the Toon.
What a fantastic atmosphere it must have been in the stadium. I know you lot
can talk for England but the singing...you just never shut up all night.
Chant of the evening was "arsehole Mourinho, arsehole Mourinho, arsehole
Mourinho, arsehole Mourinho, etc.

Thanks mate, I think your fans are the only ones that could create a
similar atmosphere, with their passion for the game and their team, ok
add to that the bhoys in Celtic.

In England yes i agree, the two most passionate fans are us and the
scouse. The worst are the Fulham fans.

If you listened to the radio commentery for last nights game, the San
Siro was absolutely rocking! I've been to games in Italy and the crowd
(not the hooligans) at their games are amazing. Im sure its the same
in Spain (Valencia, Barca and madrid have massive stadias). Has anyone
been to a game at the Maracanã?! I thats got to be the ultimate.

For the biggies, but I've been to the San Siro back in the 90s for a fairly
minor game (Lecce) and it was dead. I got a bottle of piss hoyed at me at
the Inter CL game a few years back too (well, it hit my wife, so that was
result), so I'm not ower keen on the San Siro. Mind, if anyone else was
there, did they hear the chants of "keep your tits in for the lads" aimed
at the Eva Braun lookalike security lass after the end? Cracked me up that
one.

I went to Ajax - Feyenoord years back - that was pretty good. Bit scary
afterwards though. At the other extreme I used to go up to Berwick
sometimes and all, that's weird. First time you go in it's like that pub in
American Werewolf, every bugger stops and looks at you - "you ain't from
around here, are you boy? Now, let me git that corner flag and git ready to
squeal like a pig".

Its been ages since I saw the film, but think i remember the scene. He
turns into one ugly fooker!
If its a small town/village pub everyone turns around and look, bit
like that everywhere i think.

I meant Berwick's ground was like that pub. You'd have about 200 people in
there and they all knew each other, so you felt like you'd walked into a
private party. Quie enjoyed watching them though, you realise what it takes
to support Berwick Rangers year in year out, when you could get the train
north or south for 45 minutes and watch Hearts, Hibs or Newcastle.

Thanks mate, I think your fans are the only ones that could create a
similar atmosphere, with their passion for the game and their team, ok

In England yes i agree, the two most passionate fans are us and the
scouse. The worst are the Fulham fans.

For the biggies, but I've been to the San Siro back in the 90s for a fairly
minor game (Lecce) and it was dead. I got a bottle of piss hoyed at me at
the Inter CL game a few years back too (well, it hit my wife, so that was

there, did they hear the chants of "keep your tits in for the lads" aimed

Its been ages since I saw the film, but think i remember the scene. He
turns into one ugly fooker!
If its a small town/village pub everyone turns around and look, bit
like that everywhere i think.

I meant Berwick's ground was like that pub. You'd have about 200 people in
there and they all knew each other, so you felt like you'd walked into a
private party. Quie enjoyed watching them though, you realise what it takes
to support Berwick Rangers year in year out, when you could get the train
north or south for 45 minutes and watch Hearts, Hibs or Newcastle.

Thanks mate, I think your fans are the only ones that could create a
similar atmosphere, with their passion for the game and their team, ok
add to that the bhoys in Celtic.

In England yes i agree, the two most passionate fans are us and the
scouse. The worst are the Fulham fans.

Mind, if anyone else was
there, did they hear the chants of "keep your tits in for the lads" aimed

one.

I went to Ajax - Feyenoord years back - that was pretty good. Bit scary
afterwards though. At the other extreme I used to go up to Berwick
