Richards is fit enough to have travelled.
I read somewhere, i can't remember where, but Kompany isn't eligible  to 
play.
It didn't give a reason, the only reason i can guess at is that because 
he wasn't signed before the first leg,
  so he can't play in the second. Does anyone  know enough about UEFA 
Cup eligibility rules to enlighten us?

Just found this on the UEFA web site:

The player lists have to be submitted through the national association to
UEFA by the following fixed deadlines:

a) 10 July 2007 (24.00 CET): for all matches in the first qualifying round;
b) 3 August 2007 (24.00 CET): for all matches in the second qualifying
round;
c) 1 September 2007 (24.00 CET): for all matches from the first round.

So it looks like he can play in future games.
