TV Fixture Changes
What a surprise, we haven't got a home Saturday 3pm match until October.

"Manchester City can today confirm the first round of fixture changes
for the 2008/09 Barclays Premier League season.

The first home game of the season against West Ham United moves on a day
from Saturday August 23 to Sunday August 24 with a 4pm kick-off.

Manchester City against Chelsea at the City of Manchester Stadium on
Saturday September 13 now has a kick-off time of 5.30pm.

The Portsmouth home game the week after is moved on a day due to the FA
Cup winners' involvement in the UEFA Cup First Round - kick-off remains
at 3pm but will now be played on Sunday September 21.

A busy month of changes continues as the away trip to Wigan originally
set for Saturday September 27 has been moved to the Sunday (September
28) with a 4pm start.

October currently sees just the one change with the trip to Newcastle
now taking place on Monday October 20, kick-off 8pm.

Finally, the first raft of fixture changes sees three games moved for
television in November. The away trips to Bolton and Hull both move on a
day to the Sunday - November 2 and November 16 respectively - with 4pm
starts.

As ever, the home derby against Manchester United has moved and will now
be played on Sunday November 30, kicking off at 1.30pm."

Re: TV Fixture Changes
Sunday bloody Sunday. I hate Sunday football, not least because the train's
are absolutely dire on Sundays (whereas they're normally just crap).
Obviously none of the twats that take these decisions get the train. No
doubt further changes will be announced by the TV god later on.

At least we've had decent notice this time though, the worst is when they
change a fixture to a date you've already booked something else on.
