Not me.

1. Can you imagine what £200k p.w. will do to dressing room moral and unity?
Dunnie got unsettled when Micah got his pay rise FFS.

2. The guy is overweight and unfit and seems to go partying every night.
Mentally, he's lost it.

3. Barca fans boo him.

4. He's spent most of the season injured and at 28 is likely to pick up more
injuries, especially in the more physical EPL. Can you imaging paying
someone who is injured for 6 months 200k p.w? Too much of a risk putting all
that money into 1 player IMO.

5. We could get Bentley, Santa Cruz /and/ SWP for the same money and still
probably have some change.

6. Barca want rid, for all the above reasons. He's just a drain on
resources.

7. Football is a team game, not a superstar game. The best way to get a buzz
around the ground is to put together a winning team. Like the U18s for
example, great buzz when they played at Eastlands.

Re: hands up
They hope to do a deal with a sponsor to cover the greater part of what
he's paid in order that City's wage structure isn't broken.
This is one instance where i've got reservations about Shinawatra, he
seems to think that we will get bums on seats
just by signing someone of Ron's reputation, and he's said himself that
he's thinking about the shirt sales in the far east that signing him
will generate.

Re: hands up
He will fill the stadium chas, if you asked 1000 11-21 year olds who if
anyone there team could buy that would get you to actually pay to watch
there answer would be....ronalinho or ronaldo.
agree about the injured part but if his wages are covered and he can teach
some of the lazy bastards in the team a trick or 2 then i say bring him on

ps..if we get bentley the SWP would not be needed.

Trouble is goaty, he's a lazy bastard himself:
