...hats off to you there. Whether or not it will prove to be effective is 
yet to be seen, but it was the right thing to do regardless. Even if it 
won't save Sven, he'll think twice before rashly sacking another manager 
again. The owner is an idiot if he can't tell from your club's history that 
you only need managerial stability to progress.....Sven had already made a 
bloody good start.

I'd be surprised if sacking Sven so soon, and after such a good start, 
didn't put top shelf managers off taking the job anyway....it's 
madness...pointless....and erm...lots of other things that end with 'ess'.
