If the situation with Eriksson hadn't erupted I'd be inclined to agree 
with you but as it is I have major concerns.  Players being linked 
would not be a problem as Sven is big enough to fend off enquiries but 
with a looming gulf in the closed season, and a new man wanting to 
bring in his own players, why would Richards / Dunne / Johnson and Hart 
not think about joining established teams.
