come on guys..its not all bad
lets say its true and Sven does go. maybe we can then get a manager that
really does know a good player to buy when he sees one?
look at who Sven has bought
cascedo
elano
petrov
bojinov
bianchi
fernandes
Giovanni
muwarmuwarmuwariiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
garrido!!!!!
etc etc etc
out of all the players we have at the moment only
hart, elano, petrov,Richards,Johnson and dunne are worth keeping
the rest have been mediocre to say the least
now then if we were to get Jose and he was given 100 million then maybe we
will see a manager with passion and a manager that really can attract
players of high quality
remember this is only IF Sven goes
if he stays then that's fine but he really does need to buck his ideas up

Elano, Petrov and Fernandes are all very good players. I think Giovanni too,
but he has played too little to tell. Bojinov maybe, we don't know. Corluka
and Benjani aren't on my favourites list, but they're half decent. Ignoring
Bianchi, who we've probably sold on, I personally only see Caecido and
Garrido as failures. 2 out of 9 failures is as good as it gets, especially
given that he only paid small money (relatively speaking) for them.
Also credit him with giving Johnson and Hart regular first team places, plus
he's given Sturridge a few starts.
You also have Castillo falling over himself to play for us. You may or may
not like the guy, but that says a lot about the high regard players have for
Sven.

Re: come on guys..its not all bad
Sven's problem last summer was that due to Shinawatra's protracted
takeover, he got the job with only six weeks to prepare for the new season.
Any manager taking over the squad inherited from Pearce and being rushed
into bringing in better quality players runs the risk of not all of the
purchases working out.
How many of Taggart's purchases have been failures? And he's had the
luxury of time to fully assess them before buying! Knocking Sven because
Bianchi only lasted half a season is a bit much. It's this summer's
purchases and next season's team that should be the start og properly
judging Sven.
Sacking someone because they fell just short of achieving next season's
target is a bastard's trick.
As for the rumours not being confirmed yet, the fact that they're not
being denied says it all.
