Diouf
Anybody else disappointed that we are even being linked with this guy,
Reasonable player he may be but petulance, arrogance and down-right
shameful he has proven to be over the years. I, for one, hope this is
only paper talk.
Eriksson has publicly expressed confidence that he will remain at the
helm and he is due to discuss summer transfer targets, with Bolton's
El-Hadji Diouf understood to be on his list, when he meets Thaksin.

I agree. The man's a disgrace and I would hope that the club wouldn't
want him at any price.

Someone who has never reached the heights he promised to and a deeply
unpleasant character to boot. I hope it's just paper talk - I'm sure
Eriksson would have more sense than to bring in someone like this. What I
don't understand is why we're still looking for another striker - we've got
about 53 of them - the problem is the service.

Re: Diouf
It's just some journalist making up a story.
It may even be the player's agent bunging said journalist a few quid to
get him "linked" with City as a way of alerting other clubs that he
wants to move on.

Re: Diouf
The real number- eleven is just as daft as fifty-three.
