People can get hold of these items without being fans of the club. A
mate of mine is a carpet fitter who works for a firm that is employed
in sports stadiums and exhibitions (i.e. boat show, motor show). You
would be surprised at the bands he has got to see.
He *gave* me 12 Liverpool FA Cup programmes from the 2 boxes that he
had. Just an example but there are people in ancillary positions who
can obtain these things without them being fans.
