benjani thing troubling me....
IF as the press reports...

he missed TWO planes and therefore (by implication) doesn't really want to
come to us....

Should we be paying a reported £8 million for a 29 year old - likelihood
being, we would only probably get 2 years out of him anyway ?

Just a thought.

Re: benjani thing troubling me....
By all accounts he didn't get on the first two flights, the third one
was cancelled and the fourth one, the one he caught, was delayed and so
he was too late.
I'm thinking he's maybe just thick and struggles to "go to the airport
and catch a certain flight" OR 'arry/his agent(McKay) told him not to
hurry to Manchester in order to put pressure on City for some reason.

I've got a bike. You can ride it if you like.
It's got a basket, a bell that rings and
Things to make it look good.
I'd give it to you if I could, but I borrowed it.

Re: benjani thing troubling me....
One thing that I cannot understand is why the 'review' has still not been
completed. How long can it take for a couple of officials who normally deal
with transfers to look at all the documents and decide whether or not it was
completed in time? Ten minutes? If it wasn't, just say so. City had already
publicly announced that the deal had not been finalised in time so that'd be
that. Its not as if we're one of the 'big 4' who have new rules written for
them when required, is it?

If the article below is true it makes us look pretty bad:

Re: benjani thing troubling me....
What worries me more is that we have apparently paid 9 million for him 7
million of which Portsmouth are using to pay for Dafoe

Benjani 9 mill
Dafoe 7 mill
Looks like we got the poor end of the deal then
I know who I would rather have at City

The cruciate injury is a worry, IMHO. I don't want us to have another
"Fowler" on our hands....
