Spanish teams and Liverpool make it 2 out of 2
Liverpool, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Athletico Madrid all have 100%
records so far with 6 points out of 6.

It is still early but it seems that the Spanish teams are performing
well, as well Liverpool of course. Could it be Spain's turn to
dominate the Champions League this season? I know Liverpool will have
a lot to say about that. Chelsea probably. Arsenal might. The
scum...enough said.

Liverpool have been on cruise control, we simply haven't even hit top
gear at all. Bring on Athletico! Torres will naturally score against
his old club ;)

And ***CONGRATS STEVIE G*** 100 NOT OUT :)

I highly doubt it. You have probably only looked at the results and
concluded that they are performing well. They aren't. Barca beat Shakhtar by
goals in the 87th and 90th minute. Of course by Messi. They only beat
Espanyol in the weekend because of a dodgy penalty in overtime...Messi again
with the last kick of the match. They are not really playing that well.

Both Real and Barca are too weak in defense to win the tournament, but
they'll of course make it to the knock-out stages. Atletico will qualify
too, but they might just lack a bit of experience in the tournament to go
all the way. Aguero is top class though. Will no doubt turn out to be one of
the best strikers in the world. He makes a huge difference.

Liverpool, Chelsea and United have what it takes to win the tournament.
Arsenal are too weak defensively to go all the way. Gallas is simply not
good enough. He has already cost vital goals this season against poor
opposition and those mistakes will also be punished by the better teams in
the CL.

No team has hit top gear. The matches against Atletico will decide who wins
the group. Both teams will advance with ease.

yep congrats

Well, the result is all that matters. It doesn't matter whether you
score two late goals to win. In fact, it just shows your character and
that the game isn't over until the final whistle is blown.

Man United and Chelsea haven't been impressive. Both have dropped
relatively easy points. Unless they both improve, Liverpool is the
only English team that look like going far.

Yes, the matches against Athletico will decide the group and will be
the most exciting, though Liverpool's experience in Europe will be a
factor against the new boys from Spain.

I shall remember that next time we discuss United's CL win in 99. What
character...

>Man United and Chelsea haven't been impressive. Both have dropped

True. United usually grab 3 easy points at Anfield. However it was very
impressive how Liverpool managed a point at home to Stoke. Arsenal seems
like the only team that haven't dropped easy points...oh wait.

Utterly stupid statement at this point. When Liverpool won it in 05 they
were lucky to even get past the group stage. Nothing is decided this early.
All English teams will reach the knock out stages without breaking sweat.
That's when the tournament starts.

Agreed. Contain Aguero and you'll be fine.

Talking about character...Liverpool just showed loads to comeback from
2-0 down against City to win 3-2. Now that¶ what weàe made of!! Thats
why I think we are going far!! Utterly stupid hey...whatever.
Liverpool have a unique hunger this season...weàe not letting the
league slip away so easily this time. You can see it in our
performances...we have made great comebacks so many times this season
already and thumped you Scummers...and that was also a comeback.
Whoah!
