Pope - have you noticed ...?
... That it's only supporters of small clubs that get excited over
international games?

I find it is only United fans that don't, as they are usually self absorbed
glory hunting twats who don't appreciate football for the sport it is.
Just an observation like.

At England games you get flags from all the smaller clubs who haven't won
anything for years. Swindon, Bristol City, Liverpool, Crewe, etc.

My observation is correct.

I'm puzzled.
You are infering there is somehow something laughable about supporting
players from your club when they play internationally. Why wouldn't we
be excited for one of our own? Of course I'm happy for Torres.
Unlike Mancs that were wishing Ronaldo ill, and that he'd have a
horrible tournament. One would've thought you'd all be watching and
clapping for Ronaldo & Nani, Evra, Van Der Saar, etc.

I just think we want to see United win more trophies. According to Rafa it
makes one hell of a difference if a player plays 2-3 games more or less per
year, so of course it will be a huge advantage for United if the players
play as few matches as possible.
Rafa was right about rotation. Torres really was fit for those important
matches in the end of the season ;-) Well he is Spanish after all. Torres
played two more matches than most other PL players and will now have to be
rested for the first couple of PL games. Do you prefer Torres fit for Spain
or fit for Liverpool? :-)
