That's the British for you.  Continentals have a different psyche.  How 
do you think Dietmar Hamaan played a whole season and then turned out 
and played every game for the Germans in A WC match a couple of seasons 
ago.  Or Raul Fernandez can still stick them away for fun.  Or Lothar 
Matteus playing all those years or Paolo Maldini winning all those 
caps. And on finite....

The Italians keep in trim by practising holding their arms above their 
heads. Maybe you should try it, you might grow some muscle instead of flab.
