Fabregas
I was very impressed with this lad last night. Forget all the
pre-tournamnet guff from the usual media suspects about this being
Ronaldo's tournament.
hehehe
where is he now then? Back in Portugal?
LOL!
It just goes to show how worthless Ronaldo's award as player of the
year really is, and proves yet again that his one and only strength is
turning on the style against the likes of Derby and Wigan.
Meanwhile players like Fabregas and Arshavin - truly breathtaking
footballers with the world at their feet - capture the hearts and minds
of an entire continent with dazzling displays of the sublime and indeed
at times the miraculous. There were occasions last night when I
thought Fabregas was an angel, so lightly - almost divinely - did he
float on the pitch like the good Lord himself walking on water.I'm
struggling to remember a display as memorable as that last night. He
truly deserves the player of the tournament award whatever the outcome
on Sunday. Meanwhile Ronaldo can go back to England or wherever he's
going next year and clutch his "Joint Guardian and BBC Footballer of
the Year" award closely to his chest. Hopefully it's the last he ever
gets.

Monumental bittrerness there from the saddest man on usenet.
Fabregas is good, but is as inconsistent as Ronaldo. What Ronaldo does
offer is the ability to score goals, even when not playing well. When
Fabregas isn't playing well, he is frequently anonymous.
He [Fabregas] was quite ordinary in the matches he played against United
last season, the team that is the current true litmus test of a players
quality. Double league champions and ECL winners.

nothing wrong.
How about "you were shite in yet another big game" - the step overs don't
cut it against quality opposition.
Remember, it relied on someone else fucking up (Terry), for Ronaldo not to
have cost his team the ECL with his pathetic stutter penalty.

He scored against every team in the top 7 last season, including against
Chelsea in the ECL final.
Top score in both his domestic league and in Europe.

And Anelka, Chelsea missed more than one penalty.
It is hardly suprising that someone as dim as you would fall for Pope's
flowery prose.
Those of us with a bit more intelligence prefer to stick to the facts.
Greatness is always subjective, but people who know far more about football
than Tedious and the Terminally delusional Pope rate Ronaldo as the best. I
tend to take their opinion over a know liar, welcher and his god bothering
bum chum.

Ronaldo will undoubtedly win the world player of the year award *and* the
Ballon d'Or - and on top of that, he plays for the European Champions *and*
the Champions of England.
FFS, let the people who know what they're talking about do the voting, eh?
If Fabregas was all that, he would win all the above. He hasn't - and what
is more, as good as he is, he has some way to go before he will.
Case closed.

I'm struggling to remember a post as unmemorable as the one that I
think I've just read.
Having seen photos of where Ronaldo is suposed to be right now, your
'where is Ronaldo now then' question has similarities to the, 'Where
did it all go wrong' question, famously put to George Best.

Different type of players as Cesc plays more deep and inside whearas
Ronaldo plays on the wing or attacking wide player. Cesc controls the
tempo of the game and makes the through balls for the strikers and wide
players to run onto

Cesc has a couple of things to his credit that it is becoming increasingly
clear Ronaldo lacks.....humility and respect. One could teach the other a
few things about football, the other has a lot to learn about being a decent
human being. As a United fan it pains me to write that......but I'll be
fucked if I'm sticking my head in the sand any longer....Ronaldo is a Grade
A brat. There, I've said it.

Is it imperative that he face SAF face to face or would he just have to
send his agent in his place. Or is it likely that he will meet with
SAF with his agent alongside him.
