It is not bullshit my mothers aunt worked many of the clubs and spent a 
fair bit of time up North.  I would not say she made a fortune but it 
enabled her and her husband to purchase a small car and to be able to 
buy a house.  I recall my mother saying that they had a TV to watch 
Queen Elizabeth's Coronation.  Back in the 1950's that was quite a good 
standard of living.

I have read all the original Ian Fleming James Bond books and seen
most of the films.  Sean Connery *is* Bond to all who lived thorugh
the 60s, but Daniel Craig may be nearer the Bond that Fleming had in
mind.  It's all great escapist nonsense.
Star Wars is also escapist nonsense and not my cup of tea.  I do find
it odd that you are "proud" of *not* seeing two series of very popular
movies, but then again, I am proud of having never watched Big
Brother.

I do agree that; and he was bloody good in Tomb Raider as well. Daniel Craig 
defiantly is the best Bond since Connery.

I agree. IIRC, adapted from a Rudyard Kipling story and also starring
Michael Caine.

IMO see one James Bond film and you've seen them all though.

The current Bond is good, Connery's probably next.
