This post conjures up an image of a pram standing silently in a
toy-strewn nursery. :0)

Cheer up Dan, the club's not gone out of existence. Whatever league
we're in there'll still be only 22 players on the pitch kicking a ball
about. I'd rather lose the play off final than, say, spend a week
trapped under a collapsed building in China or trying to ward off
dysentry in the remains of my hut in Burma.

Re: fuck 'em
In a way I understand how Dan feels, that was once again a fucking poor
showing at Wembley - must be the arena that makes Leeds United players brick
it and freeze.

Beckford looked like a Conference North player, and Howsom lost the ability
to PASS the ball with others in better positions.

Always next season but what happened last time Leeds lost a playoff final
hmm........

Yea, what I saw was a shambles when it came to passing the ball in the
opposite area. They could do it in mid field, but not when they got
close to the goal area!

Was the Millennium Stadium Cardiff that we bricked it and froze last
time, but I know what you mean. And the times when we don't brick it
and freeze we have a bought ref that fucks us i.e. Paris '75.

He was poor but I think that was not so much because of him, but
because the rest of the team were too, and the other side were very
good.

I've been thinking the same thing for the last ten days.

I knew we wouldn't win the game. Leeds have a habit of giving us a
false sense of optimism. We beat Arsenal 2-3 away to stay in the
Premiership only to go down the next season. Then we make it to the
Championship playoff finals and get totally stuffed 3-0 by Watford, or
was it 4-0? Can't remember. Anyway what happens next season?, we get
relegated to L1. So now, I'm hoping its not the same situation, false
hope before another fall.

I also had a worrying dream the other night that Beckford our best
player and only real striker was poached by Newcastle. Not sure about
him going there but I have a bad feeling we could lose him in the
summer to a Championship team. If we do, then we don't have a lot of
fire power left in the team and will need to bring in at least two
quality strikers as replacements.

Hoping we go up automatic next season but with Leeds you never know,
we could be in L2 the season after next.

Get yourself down to South Leeds Stadium to watch the Rams a winning
team in action! Only 3 quid in! Still a few games to go yet. Should
keep you going until the start of next season when we hopefully go up
automatically.

3-0 @ 27/1 with DeMerit first goal-scorer @ 120/1.
