Yeah. You can say all you want about it not being Wise's fault but
facts are since Poyet left our performance also slashed in half. We
went from earning almost 3 points a game to only half that.
35 points from 13 games with Poyet there. After he went we only got 24
points from 15 games with Wise and Bertie hoof it up the field
Bassett.
I wouldn't want to wish any team bad luck, well except for the odd
team or two, certainly wouldn't want to wish the likes of Liverpool,
Spurs and Newcastle bad luck, don't have any probs with those teams,
in fact I quite like Spurs as they have some of the more decent
ex-Leeds players in their team (obviously they need them to help them
win things!) however I do think both Liverpool and Newcastle are
seriously fucked at the moment. They're up shit creek without a paddle
and they've got big holes in their boats. This shouldn't really come
as a surprise to anyone well, except deluded Scousers and Toon Army
followers still wanking over the return of King Kev the plot looser.
Newcastle should not have got rid of Allardice. He had a long term
plan to bring success and they didn't go for that option. Instead they
bowed to pressure from the fans and went for short term success e.g.
immediate wins. Imagine if Man U had sacked Alex Ferguson back in 87
was it? After they got stuffed by City? I can't see Keegan doing
better second time round after such a long time out than Allardice
would have done if he had been given the backing for his long term
plan to succeed. I also can't see Keegan bringing in the flair players
that Allardice would have been able to, like he did at Bolton and with
Wise now working behind the scenes they really are fucked. They have
definitely drawn the short straw there then. Spurs on the otherhand
should be on the up after plucking the brains behind the Leeds
resurgence and adding another quality defender to their roster!
Newcastle are basically fucked because they have a bunch of lazy
twats, players past their sell by dates and sick notes in their team
e.g. Michael Owen, Mark Viduka, Nicky Butt, Duff, Carr, Barton,
Ameobi, Emre, Geremi etc etc the list goes on. I mean Michael Owen I
wouldn't have him anywhere near the England squad at the moment I
don't know what the heck Capello is playing at. Owen has done fuck all
at club level for half a decade. Beckham has done a lot more and is a
lot better than Michael Owen, even without playing since November, and
even if his last games were in MLS and yet Beckham is left out and
fucking Owen gets in the England team automatically.
Same with a number of other supposed England players. David James
moments of brilliance at club level but at International level he just
doesn't cut the mustard. He is not international quality, just a bag
of shite. Carson and Kirkland don't inspire confidence either. Heskey!
What the hell is he doing in the England team? He's a fucking ass! An
absolute fucking worthless piece of shit footballer. He isn't even
Premiership quality. Apologies to Spurs fans but Jenas also isn't
worthy of wearing an England shirt, and come to think of it this
lightweight goofball isn't even worthy of wearing a Spurs shirt. He's
over-rated, has done fuck all at club level, and on the whole is a
rather average midfielder. Definitely not international quality, and
far too lightweight so much so I'm surprised he isn't admitted to
hospital for balemia. Carrick also hasn't proved worthy of wearing an
England shirt, he is another example of an average over-rated
midfielder and definitely not international quality same with Downing.
Brown, Woodgate, King, Lescott, Richards, Shorey, Agbonlahor are all
good selections for the England team and deserve the call up.
Toon fans are going crackers because King Kev is back, but their
problems may only just be starting.
As far as Liverpool go, they are seriously fucked but at least their
fans are not as deluded as the toon are. At the start of the season
every August there is a shit load of hype about Liverpool finally
winning the title and every Liverpool fan you speak to thinks they
will do it. Then after a couple of months reality sinks back in and
things return to the same old try and make 4th place in the league,
well except this season is going to be drastically different. All
this refinancing by their American owners is very dodgy. £30m a year
interest!!! You are fucked left, right and centre, truly fucked. I'd
be very worried about those debts and think what happened to Leeds
when we didn't have the financial backing in place beforehand i.e. a
rich Ruskie or Sheik. When its just a bank loan you're asking for
trouble, because when you don't make the grade that's when it all
falls apart.
There is absolutely no chance whatsoever of Liverpool finishing top 4
this season. It will be Arsenal first, Man U or Chelsea 2nd and 3rd,
Everton fourth. Unless they get rid of a few of deadwood in their
team as well and can get enough finances together to buy better
players without going to the wall, they are fucked.
Crouch needs to be shown the door asap. Hyypia isn't getting any
younger. Agger is crap. Riise has gone downhill. Kewell well Leeds got
the best years out of him. He still makes the odd half decent cross
but other than that he's redundant. Kuyt has not lived up to his
potential. A large portion of the Liverpool squad are made up of "who
are theyz?" They don't have the strength and depth to compete and be a
top four team. They're just lacking enough talent.
The only Liverpool players worth their salt are Gerrard, Carragher,
Torres, Benayoun, Pennant, and barring the odd other player that's
about it. Even players like Gerrard though look disinterested at the
moment, and Liverpool may have to sell someone like Gerrard to bring
in the money to move on restructure and progress.
The way things are going at the moment though they could surpass Man
Us record gap of 26 years without a title. Even Leeds could be back in
the top flight and win the title again before Liverpool get their
hands on it. In fact hell will probably freeze over or Scousers will
cease wearing Shell Suits and nicking car stereos and shooting up
before Liverpool win their next title. On Tyneside the Toon faithful
are more likely to start wearing Polo necks and going on Atkins no
pies diets before King Kev brings any success to that club, unless
that success is a Coca Cola Championship title, but my team will be in
the queue for that before them.
There's more chance of SteveH hanging up his netcop uniform or Scumpex
getting his first real blow job before any of those success scenarios
for the Toon or Liverpool occur, but even then for Scumpex that will
still be off his dad or in a barbers shop.
