Just got back
from Cumbria.

Was debating about whether to go to the game or not cause I've not
been well recently. After a number of Lemsip max strengths decided to
go at half 12 on Saturday.

Got to Carlisle a little bit late, didn't get into the ground till
just after we had scored the first goal :( And then the rest was
downhill from there, shoulda stayed in bed really. We were dreadful.
We just seemed to take our foot off the pedal and let them back into
it. The thing is Carlisle from what I saw are not even that good. God
only knows how they are top of that league. I understand what Wise was
saying in his pre-match notes about them, how they defend well, then
nick goals later on. That's what they seemed to do wipping the ball
into the box. Ref was absolutely shite, gave everything their way. And
missed all their Hand of God incidents. If Carlisle could play
football as well with their feet as they can get away with their hands
they might become a good team capable of breaking their yo-yo cycle
between the 3rd and 4th tiers. The main thing is, it's the end of May
that counts not the beginning of November. And I'm 100% certain
Carlisle will not be top then they're just not good enough, Super
Leeds United will be. Hopefully that is a wake up call that we needed.

End result:

Carlisle United Basketball team 3 - 1 Super Leeds United

3-1 in their cup final. And from what I hear the biggest attendance in
their dump since the 70's. Looks like they came to watch Leeds.
Carlisle will always be a yo-yo team between the 3rd and 4th tier of
English football.

So to recap - you are certain that the team that beat you 3-1 are not good
enough to win the division, but your team, who again, they beat 3-1, will
top the division. You've convinced me...

I agree, it's bound to have nothing to do with them being top of the league
and in their highest league postion in over two decades...

God knows Tresor Kandol draws a crowd...

"Will always be a yo-yo team between the 3rd and 4th tier" eh? And here I
was thinking that they were playing in the conference around the same time
leeds were last in the premiership...

Such a shame always aint forever anymore...

Yep, some parts of it are. And Carlisle is a dump full of chavs and
communists. Your point is?

End of May. End of May, that's when it counts. Who gives a fuck who's
top at the beginning of November? I'm pleased for Carlisle that they
won their cup final.

Yep, the usual position for Carlisle is 4th division, 3rd if they're
lucky. Conference was probably thanks to the Knightons.
