Let me guess "...and you always said he was" ? ;)
I have to admit, he seemed a good sport today, waving at the stands
when they asked him to. Good team spirit too. That standing in the
centre at the end, practically everyone waited until the whole team
had gone off the pitch until they started leaving. Great atmosphere.
My first game in <cough> years, I think the kids will want to go
again.
...and what was with that linesman on the west stand side, was he
really wearing a bra?

Lol. Stop interrupting me with facts! ;)
Wasn't actually meant to be having a go at you, just at the
traditionally fickle nature of football fans in general.

Even me Mr. Sceptical - is getting slightly carried away now. I've gotta
stop worrying about it and enjoy it..

I was sceptical when he was first appointed, but i started to like him after
about 3 games, i was worried over his lack of coaching skills like blackwell
had, but i thought back to when i played for a local team, we had a 70 odd
year old called harry as our manager, we would run through hoops for the old
sod because we loved him, we topped the red triangle league by miles, when
he retired a man with coaching qualifications etc took over, we hated him
and his methods, subsequently we lost every match for 4 months. so it's not
the experience or qualifications that count, it's the man himself, and i
reckoned dennis wise is the sort of bloke i would go out and get pissed
with, and have a good laugh. but blackwell seemed to be the type of bloke
who would have a quick half of still orange and go to bed.

I'll have a little bet with you that he wont. Wanna put yer money where
your mouth is or are you just another one of the moaning fucking
lemmings who dont like him cos he once played for Chelsea??? Leeds have
had plenty of stroppy little fuckers in the past, Bremner, Giles, Batty
etc. If he'd played for Leeds you would be describing him as a legend
To be fair Wise DID take us lower than we had ever been before. We should
not be in the position we are now, fighting to get out of Division Three
(cos whatever they call it these days, in reality that is where we are)
And no, I am no lemming. Never liked Wise as a player. He never played for
Leeds, so I still can't find a reason to like him. Bremner Giles, Batty et
al did play for us, and gave their all. for Leeds. Wise has much to prove,
and still remains as the manager who took us lower than ever before.
Hopefully he will keep that record forever.
