Carling Cup *seeded system* draw is unfair.
How can the FA have possibly come up with such a bad idea ?
Although it gives the little, poor , poverty-stricken, football minnows (
like Leeds United ) a chance to play a BIG team, it does nothing for these
poor
feckers once they've had their tiny arses whacked & got booted out of their
only chance of winning a piece of semi-relevent silverware.
The little clubs will get knocked out quicker with the new *seeded*
system. The Cup ( & probable, subsequent European place ) will be
guaranteed to a *big* club, with this new system.
The old system of the League Cup draw was fairer. That way ... we
could've ended up with a David versus Goliath, League Cup Final.
i.e: Tiny, piss-poor Leeds United versus, for example .. the mighty Wigan
or Reading.
I shall be submitting my ideas to the FA , later on this week, regarding
their shite handling of the way that the League ( Carling, this year ..
again) Cup
is being run.
Entertainment, for the geniune fans of tiny clubs like Leeds, should be
paramount.
I reckon that the *seeding* system IS ok ..... providing that the team
*seeded* ( that's the team that finished HIGHER in the league, season
previously)
MUST make sure that 5 of their players play in fancy-dress, for the entire
game. This must include all substitutes.
To make the game more entertaining for the fans, the *unseeded* teams'
supporters should be able to text ( all profits to charity ! ) what
character of fancy
dress that the 5 *big-team* players should appear as.
