ITV Commentary
I was looking forward to watching the Italy v Romania match tonight without
the monotonous references to EPL players on show - tonight there aren't
any.

32 minutes into the game the moronic commentator decides to tell everyone
that this in likely to be the only match where the EPL isn't represented.

Truly pathetic.

Followed up by the reference to the only English born Italian
internationalist.

When ARE they going to get over it?

And it continues

"Dirk Kuyt (of Liverpool) scores."

I thought I was hearing things the other night - Henrik Larsson of "Man Utd
and Celtic"

You're right. Completely infuriating. I'm happy enough that they want to
chat about In-Ger-Land, but that doesn't mean I have to bloody listen to
it...

Solution: Switch on analogue ITV, put on mute on your TV and tune into Radio
5 live on your dab radio. The commentory pretty much coincides in real time
and Alan Green sounds like a footballing God by comparison to Titlsdale....

I look forward to the other Home International managers being interviewed
at half time in the future matches giving their opinions on their countries
(who also aren't at Euro 2008) chances.

It's pretty much England TV we get up here in Jockland so we shouldn't
expect too much. The other alternative would be SNP initiated Jock TV,
which still means we get the Queen on Christmas day.

Jim.....If we had a Scottish commentator and Larson of Sweden was
playing do you really think they wouldnt mention the celtic
connection?? Van Bronkhorst and Gattuso...they wouldnt mention
Rangers?? Come on..The Daily Record still goes on abot Larson/Celtic
and he left ages ago!

Thank the Lord we have English Commentators to take us away from the
drearyness of BBC Scotland and STVs presentations!!!! Arcie McPherson/
Gerry McNee anyone....

Anyway...what was the Emirates today? :)
