Indeed - he looks the part. But it makes you wonder why - with such talent
in the wings - they had to insist in taking such a prospect as Alan Gow -
almost totally out of Scottish football for a season - then talk about
taking him out for another season by sending him to Sweden?
The conduct of both sides of the Old Firm when it comes to any player who
happens to show any threat against them in league matches is quite
despicable.
I would gladly see Rangers and Celtic continually fielding their OWN
nurtured talent and some sort of rule introduced to avoid future Gow and
Riordan scenarios. And subsequently the likes of Fleck are even more likely
to get a chance.

I dont understand whats happening with Gow?? I think he could do a job for
us but wattie doesnt seem to like him at all?
I would like to see more of our own youth coming through, like Furman etc
they would put in a better shift than some of the other overpiad players.

He is going to Sweden? Wattie doesn't like Kris Boyd - what chance has Gow
got?

Indeed. But as I said there should be some sort of rule put in place to
stop Rangers and Celtic simply buying out a `threat`.
Surely the decent thing would have been for Rangers to loan Gow back out to
Falkirk in the league run in with rules in place that he couldn't play
against Rangers? To loan him out to a Swedish club suggests to me that
Rangers couldn't give a toss about the bigger picture in Scottish football.
