Some players earn respect from supporters out side of their own, Tommy
being one of them, just not right when someone as young(50 is the new
40) passes away.

Still cant believe even today that some of you are still trolling,
some Sad people post here.

thoughts are with his family.

Good sentiments. Tommy Burns was a good guy, legendary, and on a par with
the late, great Davie Cooper.

RIP

Last night I was delighted Rangers lost, just like Rangers fans were
delighted when we lost.
I intended to come on here today to gloat. Then at 8:30 news broke
of Tommy's death and then it
last night just didn't matter any more.

I completely agree: TB's passing away puts these things in perspective.

Remember, he had friends at Ibrox too and I can't imagine Walter, Ally or
Kenny MacDowell would be in the mood for a parade after hearing about TB.

RIP, Tommy.

Always was a gentlemen, and respected by all genuine football fans. A
massive loss to football coaching in Scotland, too.

A very nice gesture. Well done to Rangers for doing that.

Puts it all into perspective doesn't it? We can gloat and we can give all
the "giruy"'s that we want, but at the end of the day the fun dies out when
a legend passes away like that.

It's sad, I thought Tommy would pull through and was praying for him. Hope
he's in a better place now, no suffering, no worries. It's just a sad
occasion. I'm too young to remember him as a player, but from what I have
heard, he was class.
