press/media, is, in fact, over rated.  Chances are the players who are NOT

Considering McGeady won the Players' POTY, does that mean he is not over

They both are IMO.  Both very good players who've had good seasons, but both 
overrated.

But you were talking about the media over rating McGeady when the awards 
were Player's POTY! So is it the media and the players who are over rating 
him?

McGeady, Cuellar and McGregor are all candidates IMO.  That doesn't mean 
they're not overrated by the media.   FWIW I don't think McGregor is 
overated.  Not yet anyway.

In your opinion. I thought he was shite last year and the year before, but 
he has been a stand out for Celtic this year. Flair players get tagged with 
over rated a lot. People say the same about Nakamura but if you look at 
telling contributions, he will probably have more goals and assists than 
anyone else in Scotland. Nakamura rarely gives the ball away too - I like 
players who keep possession and play the simple ball. Lennon was another 
example of this, Ronald Koeman was probably the best at it. Shite defender, 
brilliant passer of the ball.

So was he POTY in your eyes? Who did better than McGeady to merit the award? 
Serious question. I dont watch other teams in the SPL, so I can't really 
argue if you have a better suggestion. But from what I have seen of McGeady 
this year, his work rate, his improved distribution, speed and strength and 
his assists & goals, I think he deserves the award.

Personally, I'd say McGregor.  For me POTY is all about consistency.
