He hasn't...he's always been a Rangers fan though so we have another Bear at
the helm. You know it makes sense.

lol.

Well, according to Will, it won't matter to Celtic fans since such a small
minority of them support Scotland anyway.

Well im a Celtic fan and have only ever supported Scotland . Ok my relatives
from 2 generations back were from Ireland but cant say i have ever owned an
Ireland top or supported them . Mind you im also not a great fan of
traditional irish songs either, just not my type of music i like.I just see
it as Celtic are my football team and Scotlands the country im from so thats
where 100% of my support goes. And i dont think im totally alone either.

It would be interesting to do a wee poll on how many Celtic posters in these
groups support Scotland.

So far it's one response, 1 supporter so 100% support Scotland which means
that the 'Will: I-Talk-Shiteometer' is way up at maximum.

Come on bhoys, let's have some of you telling us that you don't support
Scotland and let's see if we can get the Will: I-talk-Shiteometer down a bit

Well i think youll find a few posters are from Ireland (not sure if its NI
or ROI) so i would presume they would rightly support Ireland . There alot
of support for Ireland due to the roots of the the club and the fact that
many Scottish families supporting Celtic have roots in Ireland too so some
may wish to support them which i see nothing really wrong with (its not as
if its a war!) just the same way that maybe a child whos born in the UK to
Pakistani parents and family may wish to support Pakistan at say cricket! I
think to many people are still caught up in the "Aye all Celtic fans are
Irish supporting cathoilics" which is total crap , im sure a few huns would
be offended if we started saying they were all "England supporting
loyalists" .

He's a silly wee laddie and has no clue about the mindset of the average

This from the guy who believes that only a small minority of Celtic fans
support Scotland. Unbelievable. If I was a celtic fan I'd think you were a
hun trying to make us all look stupid and living up to the worst
stereotypes.

tbh I think there is probably a majority of tims that support Scotland, but
I could imagine, just by anecdotal evidence that a large amount don't take
much interest in the national side...I've seen Scotland and Ireland play in
the World Cup...must say I preferred watching Ireland beat Italy in the
Giants stadium...more than watching Scotland getting horsed by Morocco in
Saint Etienne...but it's Scotland's Football team all the way for me.....

Well, we all know now that no matter how good a Scottish Celtic players
are he will NEVER be chosen for Scotland again as those two
will NEVER come to Celtic Park to watch them.

I'm sort of the same Jonbhoy. My team is Celtic and my country is
Scotland. I support both. MY grand parents were Irish but that's as close
as Ireland as i get. I do like Irish music along with rock, pop,
classical, country and practically any kind of music, if its got a beat
then i probably like it.

I think Butcher is a good appointment as mild mannered Burley needs
someone like Butcher to back him up. I can see the Scotland revolution
carrying on under these two. I'll be right behind them.

Of course it makes sense...
The Celtic needed one (Jock Brown) at the helm to see that they were shown
some success in the last of the 90s...

He also brought the cheque book out for them, paying for:
Craig Burley
Henrik Larsson
Regi Blinker (the lazy HUN!)
Stephane Mahe
Marc Rieper
Jonathan Gould

Yeah I was gonna bring that up.

I ran about with Craig's younger brother in Cumnock. They're *all* Rangers
fans

So your right (whichever paranoid twit brought it up) its an agenda against
youse Celtic minded ones.

Read in one of the Sunday papers this morning that Billy Davies is a
possibility for the Eire job...that'll be a Bear in charge of them as well.
Wouldn't that be nice?
